Everything Changes

Everything changes around us and we live in impermanence. Not only physical world, but also our mind and thoughts do. In modern science there're no measurements can be found on how fast ones mind changes its thoughts. Surprisingly, Buddhism has profound studies about mind and in fact it's written that the human mind changes it's thoughts within 1/56 of a second. Who would time this? And trying to adjust to unexpected changes can be bitter. That is what's called Suffering from Change. But there are also my constant thoughts about changes.
Anyway, when I lived about 30 min (walking distance) from Atlantic ocean in the North America before, there was a Zen monk, a middle school teacher (for 20+ years) and Upstate New Yorker. He told me that our left sphere of human brain has developed so much that we define and constantly compare whatever is perceived through our senses. Whereas the right side of the brain which balances emotions and helps stay grounded is literally left behind. Finding what's wrong is a step towards resolving.
Let's say I was to meet an "awful"  person and I am in turmoil of thinking how it would be painful and I really do not want to see him. In others point of view, he's a great guy helping and joking. And in his opinion I'm not a bad person at all. In fact he sees me as a young and smart woman. So who is he actually? If he's awful, why everyone's not seeing him being awful? So the trouble is in the eyes of a beholder. This is all about leaving our inhibition or limiting ourselves from doing what's important and powerful in our minds. How? It's in the "secret" teachings of tantrayana. Once an individual has won over inhibitions there's endless energy in mind which then later materializes in the physical world.
